Founded in 2015 by a team seeking to improve global transport solutions, Applied EV combines heritage in automotive innovation with software development and deep robotics capability. 

Our mission is clear - we’re intent on revolutionising transport. We recognise the need for safer, cleaner, more efficient transport solutions. For us, this challenge extends the boundaries of cars and taxis - brighter transport futures, beginning with commercial applications -where the impact and opportunity are more profound.

  • New levels of safety with multiple layers of redundancy, making it an ideal solution for Level Four and Five autonomous applications.

  • Applied EV strikes up a strategic partnership with Suzuki to help create a new fleet of electronic vehicles.

  • Blanc Robot makes its German debut at ITS Hamburg as an Applied EV partner with lbeo. Applied EV's Blanc Robot, Digital Back Bone and lbeo's sensory technology are combined for commercialisation in Germany.

  • MoU with Oxbotica to integrate the Blanc Robot platform with Oxbotica's autonomous driving systems capability.

  • Cooperation agreement with lbeo —  a leading German LiDAR producer, to integrate technologies.

  • Achieved development agreement with Teijin to develop zero-emission low­-speed electric vehicles.

    AEV's blanc robot Gen IV is launched at the Las Vegas CES 2019

  • Partner with the University of Sydney, Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) to develop autonomous industrial vehicles.

  • Applied EV is established and commences the development of Digital Backbone and Blanc Robot projects.
